Vive la France

Hat tip Commentary Magazine and JJ

"Curses. Foiled again."

I keep telling you that France is the new leader of the Free World but you won't believe me. This time it was the French foreign minister Yves St Laurent-er, Laurent Fabius, who saved the world from the perfidies of John Heinz Kerry and the Lady Baroness Catherine Ashton as they tried to duplicate Munich 1938 by letting Iran off the sanctions hook while they (the Iranians) promised to turn down the heat a bit in their nuclear reactors. Jonathan Tobin has a great article in Commentary Magazine.

I guess that Nobel Peace Prize for the ketchup heir* will have to wait.

*( John Heinz Kerry is not exactly a ketchup heir. He just married the widow of the ketchup heir. The result was the same.)

Kinda makes me want to sing the Marseillaise.

"Long may it wave-and Bill O'Reilly-cut off the boycott."

If even the French will not go along with the "deal", that should tell us that it is a pretty bad one.

Amazing! We have lost our lead in the free world to France!

We already lost it to China and Russia in the rest of the world.

I don't know if it is willful negligence or reckless endangerment or plain stupid incompetence.

This is going to take a long time to fix.
