The specific acts and positions outlined in the memo, if true, are a valid basis for protest. They are not the politically neutral statements of concern for the causes of Churban Europa, but broadsides against the Muslim faith. Whether these broadsides are true and accurate might be a defense, but 'how dare you accuse a Holocaust Memorial group of doing anything that disparages Islam' is not.
Once again, it would be useful for Holocaust organizations to emphasize, for Muslim populations and organizations, that if not for the Holocaust, most of the current population of Israel would be today living in (a) Europea, (b) North Africa, (s) the western hemisphere. It was Hitler's "final solution" that motivated more than a small handful of Jews to seek refuge in the British Mandate of Palestine.
It is a pathological obsession. If the Muslims spent a fraction of their effort in trying to improve their lives instead of the effort they spend in spend in anti Semitism, they (and the rest of the world) would be better off.
Miggie, elites need enemies to absorb the anger of the masses, so as to retain their position as ruling elites. Those who make decisions aren't interested in improving the lives of the general population. The mass of the general population therefore must be distracted from that subject as well.
But I must say, I miss the days when the most militant Palestinian organization was headed by an Orthodox Christian, Dr. George Habasch.
