University of Wisconsin Professor E-mails Students on Shutdown Blame

Here we have another university professor using her position as teacher and university resources to spread her own political dogma.

“Some of the data gathering assignment will be impossible to complete until the Republican/tea party controlled House of Representatives agrees to fund the government,” University of Wisconsin La Crosse Assistant Geography Professor Rachel Slocum told students in an e-mail."

“The e-mail I sent you all about the government shut down [sic] was not meant to be partisan, but it may have come across that way,"

"Uhhhh......yeaaaah."

Someone should send this news to Cal State Northridge president Dianne Harrison.

In other words, it's YOUR fault that you misunderstood her pure motives. It is the typical liberal apology. They believe it is a FACT that the fault is the black hearted House Republicans and not the " always willing to compromise " president.

Every statement in the email is factually true. Sometimes facts have a partisan bias.

Your opinion, Siarlys. How about until Harry Reid decides to fund the govet by bringing at least one of the House-passed bills up for a vote?

(My opinion)

A continuing resolution is a continuing resolution. It is not a vehicle for hanging pet projects onto. That's like amending a clean air bill to allocate funds for building a new Px at a military base in Rep. So-and-so's home district.

There is no majority in the senate to pass any bill the House is sending up. There is a majority in the House for a clean CR, but Boehner WON'T bring those up for a vote.
