Indonesia's last synagogue-destroyed

So much is being written lately about persecution of Christians in Muslim lands. The reason you don't hear so much about persecution of Jews in those countries is because....they basically have been gone ever since the late 1940s when they were driven out by the hundreds of thousands-something you don't hear about at all those anti-Israel events on  US college campuses as they rail on about Palestinian refugees.

There are a few small communities of Jews here and there-even in Indonesia, a holdover from the Dutch colonial days. As reported below, there are now about 20 of them in Indonesia, and their last remaining synagogue has been destroyed.

There are very few Jews living in Muslim lands now. I suspected that every synagogue will soon be either destroyed or converted into a mosque.

Probably the Amish again.

Thank God for the State of Israel... this is precisely why there has to be a national homeland for the Jewish people.
