Hat tip New University
Janet Napolitano, the new president of the University of California, met with a bunch of students including some who are in the country illegally and listened to their "demands". UC Irvine's New University has the shocking details.

"Napolitano agreed with many of their concerns and promised to look further into many of these demands and consult with her staff on what steps to take."
This, of course, tells you she will be the same kind of UC president as she was secretary of Homeland Security ( a disaster).
First of all, where do any students get off presenting a list of demands to the university president-especially those who are not even in the country legally? (Yes, I understand most were probably brought here by their parents when they were little kids, but are you telling me with this administration in office -or any other- they can't get their status legalized?)
Actually, I find it curious that so many students are opposed to Napolitano's appointment just because she led DHS. They must be buying into the administration's claim that they have deported more illegals than ever before. In reality, they should be thrilled with her appointment. Her biggest priority as DHS secretary was getting a Dream Act passed and cracking down on mythical right-wing militia groups who want to overthrow the government.
Napolitano will be visiting UC Irvine October 28, when she will meet with groups from the faculty senate. But get this: Sometime 60-90 minutes before the meeting, each faculty senate member will get a secret phone call on their Red Rider pager telling them where the meetings will be held. Apparently, certain university employees want to show up and protest (Don't ask me why.) Thus, the need for the utmost in secrecy. Security you know.

Bet you any amount of money that the MSU will be given preferential treatment and their campaign of harassment and attacks will continue.
