It takes an awful lot to make Martin Bashir, who is not fan of the Tea Party, look reasonable. Yesterday, Bashir interviewed Alan Grayson and criticized him for comparing the Tea Party to the KKK. Grayson refused to see the silliness of his comparison and implied that Bashir is collaborating with the Tea Party in their imagined "racism". Here is an excerpt of that exchange.
I am no admirer of Bashir, who I think is usually smug, arrogant and disingenuous in the true style of MSNBC, for which he works. In this case, however, I have to compliment him on his handling of Grayson.
