Secretary of State John Kerry testified before Congress this week that the large majority of rebel factions are "moderate" as opposed to "bad guys". Others disagree. Vladimir Putin is calling Kerry a "liar". Who knows where the truth lies in Syria? Given the recent performance of our intelligence agencies, I am not inclined to take anyone's word for it.
But consider this:
Let's assume that everything President Obama and John Kerry are saying is true, that there are moderates who we can work with who will establish a pro-American regime in Syria. Let's assume all their argumnents for going to war in Syria are valid.
After watching this president, this State Department and this administration in action in Libya, Benghazi and Egypt, are you comfortable going to war with this crowd? Do you feel confident with our country being taken into war under this bunch?
Because I sure don't.
