Professor in Jordan Blames Copts for Church Burnings

Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism

"Qourshah alleged it is all a conspiracy. "The Christians are burning their churches on the instructions of State Security to win the sympathy of the West so that it continues to support the coup," he wrote Aug. 14 on his Facebook page."

If you are wondering why all the so-called moderate Islamic organizations in the US are not talking about the church burnings in Egypt, here is a clue from the Investigative Project on Terrorism. A Middle East professor associated with some of these outfits is loudly blaming the Coptic Christians and accusing them of burning their own churches.

So Professor Amjah Qourshah is affiliated with the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America, eh? The words attributed to him in the above article are pretty much in line with two speakers I recall who came to speak in Yorba Linda a couple of years back for the nice folks at ICNA.

Amir Abdel Malik Ali and Siraj Wahhaj.

And folks still can't figure out why there was a protest?

It is as if they don't even consider what lie they can get away with, it is more what lie flies into their heads, no matter how improbable, or no matter how easily disproved.

The 911 Truthers comes to mind.

The Birthers had more of a case.

Findalis,

That's because there are no Jews in Egypt, remember?
