Jonathan Tobin puts the church attacks in Egypt in a little more perspective. It underlines the fact that our government is backing the wrong side.

Unfortunately, the world is lining up on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood even though the majority of Egyptians support the military coup and do not want to see Morsi back in power. They have opted for a secular form of government. Will the US, the UN and the EU force them back under MB control?

The people of Egypt haven't opted for any form of government. They may have opted for placing blind trust in the army to save them. That's as foolish as voting Morsi into office.
