Angela Davis Whines About California's Most Notorious Prison

Pelican Bay houses the worst of the worst prisoners in the state of California. Yet, it appears that the poor animals are on a hunger strike. That brings a sympathetic ear from Marxist UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) professor of History of Consciousness Angela Davis. She has written an op-ed for the Sacramento Bee. (That's a newspaper in Sacramento for all you UCSC History of Consciousness and Community Studies majors.)

"Yet both Gov. Jerry Brown and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Secretary Jeffrey Beard are intransigent in their refusal to engage in honest negotiations with the prisoners." (emphasis mine)

As I stated in my own comment to the Bee, Davis should reserve her sympathy for the guards who have to work in that Hellhole at the risk of their lives.

Someone should also explain to Davis that people don't go to prison to negotiate anything.
