In Turkey it's Blame the Jews

Hat tip IPT

Turkey is having problems and their president, the Islamist Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is under fire. There have been a disturbing number of references to Jews being the cause of Turkey's unrest. Here is the latest from the Investigative Project on Terrorism

Maybe the cause of Turkey's unrest has more to do with Turks wishing to maintain their secular traditions as set by their national hero, Ataturk.

Science has identified the problem! It is virus Anti-Semitus. (Let's not play semantic games. It refers to Jews specifically, and not all Semites.)

Like all other viruses, it needs no logic or evidence, only a host that it invades, either by invitation, education, or considered useful. Many times it is fatal, ask Hitler and Germany after WWII.)

In some societies it is transmitted through mother's milk and in others through the educational system.

There are cases in areas where it prevailes even though there are no Semites to cause it. Sometimes it is an obsession and sometimes a mild case.

It has never in history served to benefit the patient. Once removed though, benefits to the host seem to accrue, such as coutries where Jews are allowed to emigrate.

It is more common among the truly ignorant and particularly those desperately needing a scape goat.

Unfortunately, there is no cure. No logic, argument, or even evidence works on the victim. For the most part, it is incurable. All you can do is recognize the symptoms and try to fight it as well as you can.

Miggie,

Interesting how so many people have used it to explain their own inadequacies.

What I love is when they talk about the Bolshevik Jewish Plutocrat conspiracy.

Come on, which is it? Bolshevik or Capitalist?

Actually, its both. The owners of the Triangle Shirtwaist plant were Jewish, as were a large portion of the workers.
