I am cross-posting today's article from Atlas Shrugs by Pam Geller. It regards a professor at the University of Central Florida, Jonathan Matusitz, who is under fire from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) based on his comments about Islam. (He teaches courses on terrorism at UCF).

The above link also has the CAIR press release about Matusitz as well as the below video, which CAIR refers to as an example of Matusitz's "hate speech".

Here is Matusitz's entry in the site, "Rate My Professors", where you can review student comments about Matusitz. They range from "great" to "terrible". Yet, I note that no student accused Matusitz of being ideological or imposing his views on his students.

I have taken the time to watch the above video, which is over 40 minutes. I suggest the reader do the same. It is not a classroom event, rather it is a speaking event on campus that also includes the very impressive Congresswoman Sandy Adams (R-FL). It is refreshing that the audience understands the problem.
So where is the professor wrong in his presentation? Where are the lies? And even if you disagree with him, does that mean he doesn't have the same right to speak as the thousands of leftist professors who preach the opposite views and attack Israel?
CAIR doesn't think so.
