Has Hillary Clinton no shame? Notwithstanding the Benghazi fiasco, which capped off an otherwise unproductive stint as secretary of State, Hillary has the chutzpah to go to Beverly Hills and accept a "public service" award from her admirers as she gears up for her 2016 presidential run.

This ranks up there with Al Gore's Nobel Prize and Oscar as well as Barack Obama's Nobel Prize. Of course, the ceremony takes place in La-La land, which already has more Oscars, Golden Globes, People's Choice, Emmies, and who knows what as the elite of Hollywood pile award upon award upon each other.
And that's not all. In September, Hillary will be receiving something called "The Liberty Medal".

As the 67th Secretary of State, Clinton broke national and global barriers. She was the first First Lady to serve in a presidential Cabinet. She traveled to more countries than any other Secretary of State. She used social media to engage citizens in the workings of diplomacy, and she paid an official visit to Burma, making her the highest U.S. representative to do so in half a century.
"Ah wunnerful ah wunnerful ah"
Ms Clinton should be embarrassed. But that is not in her make-up.

Has Hillary Clinton no shame?
You have to ask?
Hillary is someone we agree on. "Anybody but Hillary" led me to Barack Obama, and you to John McCain. It will probably lead us in different directions in 2016, but we will both be looking far away from Hillary.
Fundamentally, I don't trust her because in her seldom-read book, she conflated "government" with "the village." Bob Dole was wrong when he said it doesn't take a village to raise a child. It does. He was right when he said it takes a family to raise a child. Hillary was wrong when she said the government IS the village it takes to raise a child.
I may be a socialist, but I'm firmly committed to the American experiment with voluntary associations that get things done outside of government channels, without government money, and staying clear of anything that government red tape regulates. Some things need to be regulated, but we always need the unregulated nongovernment citizen action to keep the republic lubricated.
Siarlys,
We agree on the Cubs and Hillary.
They are both bad.
Speak for yourself Gary... on the Cubs. I thought we were both fans.
I am a fan, but they are bad.
I think they are getting better.
Remember when they got into the playoffs, won the first two games at home, then let San Diego win the next three in a row? I was in California when they faced the Giants in the playoffs... I was so proud of my Cubs cap that year.
Do I remember? I was living in Italy and following the games on my short wave radio (this was back in the 80s of course.) I was in Milan for the games in Chicago and genoa and Rome for the San Diego games. There I was in bed at 3 in the morning listening to the games from the west coast.
Do I remember?
