If you thought the fact that former IRS chief Doug Shulman visited the White House 150 times while he was serving in that position was unusual or suspicious, you ain't seen nothing. His chief of staff and top political aide, Jonathan Davis was there over 300 times.

Over 300 times between 2009 and 2013. Come to think of it, that's probably more than President Obama.

What else would a political aide do? I mean, the agency is part of the executive branch of government. I'd question why they were drawing a paycheck if they weren't at the White House quite often. You haven't mentioned any evidence on what they discussed.

This is no surprise to me! After all, it was the POTUS that stated, after the congressional election in 2010 that:
"Were gonna punish the our enemies and were gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us." So, Obama has done a great job of punishing the enemy, the Tea Party, Patriots, Conservative groups, The Catholic Church, and those donors to such groups. He certainly rewarded the friends as we saw Rice and Lerner get bigger and better jobs for their efforts in deceit, deception and dishonesty.

Easter eggs are not within the IRS jurisdiction. My mother knows where to find the easter eggs. When she was a child, anyone could bring their kids to the White House lawn for the Easter egg hunt, and grandma brought all three of her girls.
Obviously this campaign against the Tea Party type organizations was developed and orchestrated from the White House. That takes a lot of meetings to craft the effort. They had the tools to shut them down or not let them get started. I knew that the Tea Party people were still out there and felt the same way. What I didn't know was that the government was constraining them while Media Matters and Planned Parenthood and liberal organizations sailed through without any problems at all.
There is no argument about that because the IRS has already ADMITTED that. Now they are reluctant to disclose the details.
That is why the Tea Pary lost steam and how the Democrats stole the 2012 election.

The 2000 election was not stolen. It was almost stolen. Every count in Florida ever taken during and afterward showed Bush with more votes.
Gary, it is a matter of scripture that the Republicans "stole" the 2000 election. They believe it without any basis as if it were an article of faith. They have no facts or evidence to support their view... but then it would be a matter of logic and proof, not of unsubstantiated conviction.

I would refer anyone to Bill Salmon's book on the subject. He is a conservative, but his book is highly convincing. To say Bush stole Florida is like saying the bank stole the money when the bank robber is caught.
Actually, it is Bill Sammon and he has written four NY Times best sellers. Haven't seen much of him lately.
Miggie, you've obviously never had to encounter an obtuse bureaucracy. It does not take high level coordination at all. It takes one mid-level bureaucrat issuing a memo, with or without authority, based on their own understanding of what they are supposed to be doing. That is what people diligently proceed to do, until somebody higher up becomes aware of it, if that ever happens at all.
What happened in Florida is that the state courts ordered a recount, and the federal Supreme Court over-ruled the recount. Thus, we don't know what the recount would have shown, but we do know what a lot of partisan hacks have tried to piece together about what they think they can glean it would have shown, and their respective adherents of course highly recommend the books written for one side, or the other.

Gary, Gary--I was just trying a little sarcasm, if you can imagine that, something like using "out-of-statuses" to refer to illegal aliens. Of course Gore, et al, tried very hard to steal it.
Yeah, Sammons' little book on the subject was quite good, probably the best I have read. Mark Levin also had a very good chapter on it in "Men in Black".
