Richard Cravatts has written a timely piece on the issue of free speech and the outright bullying that goes on in our universities when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Front and center, of course, is the deplorable situation that exists within the University of California system.

Having witnessed this situation irst-hand at UC Irvine and having followed the events on other UC campuses, I fully subscribe to what Cravatts says. The Tammi Rossman-Benjamin (who is a friend and colleague of mine) case is a prime example.
