Does Obama Have His Time Line Straight on Benghazi?

President calls Benghazi a "side show"

It is encouraging that President Obama is being forced to answer questions about Benghazi from a newly curious press. Better be careful Mr President. You don't want to contradict yourself, you know.

Maybe he could do a Jody Arias and completely change his story. It seems Hillary Clinton will have to.

If they've been reading my comments at Fousesquawk, there is no need for panic. They can get on with important business for the United States of America, dismiss this yapping, and also make sure a thorough investigation is done, per S.O.P., into the many things that could always have been done better in any moving situation. (Is the Justice Department monitoring this site?)

Why am I not the least bit surprised?? The beauty of telling the truth is that all you have to remember is what happened. The worst part about lying is that you not only have to remember what you have previously said but who you said it to, and it gets very difficult to "remember" things that did not actually happen.

Most liars eventually get caught in the act, and that is beginning to happen a lot to the Obama Bunch these days.

Elwood,

In the study of neuro-linguistic programming, remembering things that did not happen is synonomous with creating new information as opposed to recalling true information. According to the person's brain make up, their eyes will shift in certain direction if they are trying to recall true facts. Their eyes will go in a different direction when they are creating new facts (lying). Other body movement or verbal statements also come into to play. I have learned over the years that when Hillary is getting ready to tell a lie, she begins, with, "Well, you know...."

Once you have a feel for how the person expresses truth especially facts they have to recall, you can pick out the lie before it's even out of the mouth. I am not an expert in that, but I did attend the Reid seminar on this during my DEA days. It is fascinating stuff.

Gary--yeah, neither am I up to speed on this but I do remember something about the direction the eyes take when answering, as a function of whether the person is right or left-handed, can indicate if the answer is true or false. Forget which way the eyes have to go relative to "handedness" (is that even a word??

Now that you mention it, I have noticed the same about Hillary, she usually does it when she gets in a tough spot, no??

Aren't we glad Hillary wasn't the Democratic nominee in 2008?
