Dearborn Apologizes to Christians Wrongfully Arrested

Hat tip Answering Muslims

The city of Dearborn, Michigan has issued a public apology to three Christians who were wrongfully arrested at an Arab festival in 2010 as they were discussing religion with a hostile crowd.  David Wood of Answering Muslims has the report. He was one of those involved.

This is an arrest and prosecution that never should have happened. As an ex law enforcement agent, I consider it an abuse of power.

I wonder how much Dearborn had to pay the Christians? I don't think they got off with just an apology.
