UC Davis in the Spotlight Tonight

Hat tip The Blaze

Tonight at UC Davis, a forum is being held on the Arab Spring featuring Daniel Pipes. It is being sponsored by the Ayn Rand Society. Naturally, the little rascals are all up in a tither about it and speculation is running rife that it may be disrupted (standard operating procure).

I will be checking tomorrow to see how it turns out. Of course, free speech depends on whether the Islamists and their lefty brethren agree with what is being said.

The Ayn Rand Society sounds like a 21st century incarnation of the Hitler Youth. However, their meeting should be picketed, not disrupted, for being Randian, not for being about something in the middle east.

Gary the outcome has already been determined:

It is the fault of the Jews!

This is the statements that are coming out of the Middle East.

I went to a Rand event at UCI a few years ago, which featured Wafa Sultan, an apostate. The Rand Society has taken up Islamic extremism as an issue.

Findalis unmasks herself as a self-hating Jew! (Or wait, was she being sarcastic? Its hard to tell sometimes). Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.

The Randian solution to the middle east is to arm everyone and let them fight it out in unremitting total war. The strongest will survive, rape the next strongest among the survivors, and produce a race of superpersons.

I attended the talk at UC Davis. It was quite civil- no heckling, no disruptions.

Anonymous,

Thank you for the news. That is welcome news. Isn't that better than disrupting and trying to shut down free speech?
