You remember recently when a couple of Democratic operative types secretly recorded a conversation between Senator Mitch McConnell and some aides in Louisville? Remember how the Democrats in Washington dismissed it as a pair of low level clowns who had nothing to do with anybody?
Well, it turns out that there is a connection to the White House for at least one of these guys.

I wonder if there will be another 18 minute gap?
As I recall, there was something more to Watergate than "Stans had a meeting with Nixon at the White House." Rather a lot more. Still grasping at straws, eh Gary? You've got a bad case of Watergate envy. Get over it.
Among other things, a check signed over to the burglars had been made out by a donor to the Republican National Committee. It was diverted to pay for the burglary.
That didn't even require a meeting at the White House for E. Howard Hunt or Gordon Liddy, to set in motion. But it did provide a paper trail?
(No Findalis, there is not an 18 minute gap, because there is nothing to erase.)
