Rashad Riddle has appeared in court after shooting his father during Easter church services. He reportedly shot his father as he (father) was leaving the church at the end of services then walked to the podium in front and continued ranting.
During his court appearance, Riddle used the Arabic phrase, "Inshallah" (Allah willing") The rest of his sentence is unintelligible-at least to me.

Perhaps, it is still premature to conclude a motive, but it would appear that there is a religious aspect to why he would kill his Christian father.
