Minnesota Democratic Congressman, Keith Ellison, says it was probably more to do with politics than religion as the motive for the Boston bombing.

So they were mad at Russia and decided to express their anger at Russia by bombing Americans in Boston.
Right.
I can assure you that if the bomber(s) had been the next Tim McVeigh, Ellison and his ilk would be all over the news blaming Republicans, conservatives, Rush Limbaugh, the Tea Party and all of talk radio. As it is, Ellison still insists that we "don't know the motive yet".
Don't insult our intelligence, Rep. Ellison. Be glad that the American people are fair-minded enough that they are not blaming all Muslims for the acts of these two.

I always get the feeling that when something like this happens the leftists are just hoping beyond hope that it is some "right wing nut job" that was behind it.
There is a certain amount of glee when that is the case and that is sad and a bit sick.
