Predictably, now that everybody is talking about amnesty for illegal aliens, the rush is on to get here and cash in. Those who have been stopped are reportedly telling agents they are coming now also because they know the BP is being cut.

I guess if we want our border properly protected, taxpayers need to pony up the money it takes to equip and pay the border patrol officers it takes to do that. Republicans ... always looking to get something for nothing... takers, not makers.
That's the problem. We are already ponying up lots of money for the govt not to do its job. Now in the case of this so-called sequester (where the rate on increase in spending has been reduced) Obama picks the biggest areas to cut so as to hurt us the most and make a point-apparently with success in your case. Instead of cutting wasteful pork and social spending, Obama cuts our defense and security. Real smart.
