Academic Fraud at the University of North Carolina

Hat tip Algemeiner

I have often argued that professors who use their classroom as a soapbox to shove their opinions down student's throats are unprofessional. However, academia maintains that they enjoy the right of free speech. How about when professors manufacture evidence to buttress their presentations? Apparently, that's exactly what this professor at the University of North Carolina did.

I take no pleasure in writing this as UNC is my mother's alma mater, and I am quite fond of the university and the state. Unfortunately, even UNC is "tarred" by professors such as this-if you will pardon the pun.

Deir Yassin was an atrocity.

It wasn't on anything like the scale of Buchenwald.

But if your mother were among the dead, that would be cold comfort.

Its also no excuse for expecting several million Israelis to disappear.

Whatever happened it was apparently in the course of a battle. Buchenwald was no battle.

Deir Yassin was in the course of a war, not a battle.

Actually, Buchenwald was also in the course of a war, although the enemy was more intrinsically evil than any of the belligerents in the middle east.

Those killed at Deir Yassin weren't the one's firing at the Jewish forces either.
