Two-Tiered Education in Wisconsin

Hat tip to Eagnews and Frontpage Magazine

Wis. education officials want students to wear ‘white privilege’ wristbands

Have you got your white wristband?

Here is the latest bit of cheer I picked up from Eagnews via Frontpage Magazine this morning.

Burqas for students and the Mexican National Anthem cannot be far behind.

This, of course, is just another example of the nonsense that our kids are exposed to in schools not only in Texas and California, but all over the country. When I recently reported on the hi jinks in Texas, my old friend and kibitzer, Siarlys, pooh-poohed it as a tiny thing- not representative of the country as a whole (I am paraphrasing it, Siarlys.)

Guess where Siarlys lives.

You guessed it-Wisconsin.

Nobody here has heard anything about this, but if one of your rabidly ideological sources appears in an Orange County blog talking about it, it must be true.

No doubt among the 4 million people in Wisconsin there are 1, 3, 5, or even 13 idiots who would take such an idea seriously. Some may even work in some state office. But its "news" only to those hungry to call it such. And it certainly isn't becoming policy.

Do you really think Scott Walker would let such a thing get past him? He goes for all kinds of nonsense, but not the kinds that would offend his core constituency.
