For all the drugs and wild living, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones are showing some good sense and backbone in standing up to the anti-Israel crowd. They will be performing in Jerusalem in spite of objections form the loons and losers involved in the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement.

Update: I am advised by Anonymous that the story is a Purim hoax. If so, shades of Anderson Cooper's high speed car chase that I reported that never was. It also means my chances for the Pulitzer Prize just went down a notch-and Miggie owes me a beer.

According to your link it is a hoax. As I check the blogosphere, there are still many more articles saying it is for real. If you are correct, the laugh is on Gary Fouse. If I am right, the laugh is on anonymous.

I hate to say this Gary but Anonymous is correct. It was a Purim joke.
The tradition at Purim is to tell tales and get drunk. Not necessarily in that order. It was a Purim joke. Really. Many of the other bloggers haven't quite figured it out yet.

Ok, so it was a hoax. So I am back to thinking the Stones are a great music group but a bunch of dopers. Does that change anything about the BDS debate? No.
I always understood Fousesquawk to be a satire along the lines of The Onion or Landover Baptist.
My bad for sending the story to Gary!
I usually check stuff out on Truthorfiction or Snopes but, like many of these items, they sound so believable because of our (all of our) mindsets. Whoever makes them up or exaggerates them just enough that the true believers don't doubt them at all.
That's what happened to me this time and I apologize.
We have enough truth on our side, that Gary puts up every day, that we don't need any lies to further make the point.
That's OK, Miggie. Now I can go back to my orginal belief that behind the good music the Stones are a bunch of dopes.
