In addition, Venezuelan-owned CITGO gas stations around the US are lowering flags-including American flags- to half mast in honor of Chavez It is all quite disgusting.
Hugo Chavez was a thug and a caudillo. The above Hollywood clowns who sing his praises do so for one reason; Chavez was an enemy of their own country-the US. They ignore the fact that this "champion of the poor" helped foment violence and unrest in neighboring Colombia as he assisted the FARC rebels. They ignore the fact that Chavez persecuted his small Jewish community because he was allied with the Palestinian terrorists against Israel. He spread his influence to other South American countries, such as Bolivia and Ecuador helping to reverse the trend toward democracy throughout that continent.
As for CITGO, I say we should fill up elsewhere.
