Chalk up another embarrassment for MSNBC as Chris Matthews goes off on another tangent and accuses John McCain of having Vietnam flashbacks-something Chris never has to suffer from since he never even served in the military. (Matthews, born in 1945, served in the Peace Corps 1968-70.)

Instead of flashbacks, Matthews suffers from delusions.
McCain draws a lot of criticism from all sides. There are some things about his career in the Senate that I don't agree with. Attacking him based on his POW years in Hanoi is way below the belt. McCain is ten times the man Matthews is. In my view, Matthews owes McCain an apology.

Matthews is not only a jerk, but a clueless jerk. On the other hand, McCain and pals acted like little boys at a British boarding school during the Hagel appearance.
(So did Wisconsin's one-term senator, Jon Ronhnson).
