Al Gore above-Nobel Peace Prize winner

As we all know by now, Al Gore has sold his interest in Current TV to the Qatar-based Al Jazeera. Though Gore hates Big Oil, he is not adverse to taking their money.

Here is another aspect of the sale that should be stressed. One of Al Jazeera's top shows features sermons by none other than the spiritual mentor of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al Qaratawi, a Jew-baiter in the mold of Nazi Germany's Julius Streicher. He doesn't much like Christians either having spoken of his desire to die in battle fighting the infidels. Here is another one of his rants from 2009, courtesy of MEMRI.
So my question to Mr Gore is this: How can you sell out to a network that features this mad man?

He's no worse (and no better) than Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. They're all hatin' sometin' n'est-ce pas? Al Jazeera is the closest thing to an independent news media the middle east has. (That's a low bar, but its worth noting as far as the middle east goes).

beck and Limbaugh are not engaging in the violent and murderous rhetoric that Qaradawi is. You need to examine the videos and words of Qaradawi before you compare him to Limbaugh and Beck.
In Siarlys' own previous immortal words, comparing Beck/Limbaugh to this dude is "apples and horseapples". I am not at all convinced that Beck, Limbaugh, or most conservatives, including me for that matter, are "haters", although that certainly is the way they/we are characterized by the MM and most libs/Dems. Even if false, it works with the dummies.
I can't speak for the mainstream media, although I note that the term necessarily includes Fox, which is much too big to pretend to be anything else. You need to examine the videos and words of Limbaugh and Beck before you distinguish them from Qaradawi.

I have years of experience listening to Beck and Limbaugh. They have never expressed the desire to die in battle against other religions. Nor have they ever said that the holocaust was God's punishment against the Jews.
Of course not Gary. They have their own brand of hate, and they're more sophisticated.
