I really feel sorry for Anderson Cooper. Whatever you think, he is a professional news guy. He deserves better than to be paired up each New Years eve with foul-mouthed Kathy Griffin, who outdid herself last night.
As every year, Cooper is clearly uncomfortable being paired with Griffin. Last night was the worst. Look, I am no prude, but Cooper would be a fool to do another show with Griffin, who makes him look like a bumbling idiot on TV, which he is not.
If CNN wants to keep calling itself "The most trusted name in news", they need to get rid of Kathy Griffin-or else pair her up with that boob Jack Cafferty. Maybe she can send him dirty e-mails to read on the air.
Oh, they dumped Cafferty?
The next-best scenario is to send Griffin over to MSNBC, where she can kiss all their sardines. That should get a thrill up Chris Matthews' leg.
