Jeez, if Nixon, Lance Armstrong and even Bill Clinton could have come up with that line.... "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

There is a long list of liars, cheats, swindlers, crooks, and others that would just as soon get past this without dwelling on the past as Ms. Clinton is intent on doing.

I, for one, will keep it in living memory for all to remember as long as I can.

Miggie,

Prediction: In 2016, it will be the Republican campaign line what she said. In the end, she will be elected president.

It won't make any difference.

Can't agree with you there, Gary, at least on the outcome of the election.

I think her statement is damaging enough to endure but, more importantly, at some point in the next 4 years reality is going to smack the country in the face. We have an incredible debt burden and we just have to make that less abstract to the average voter. The economy is likely to continue to be anemic because of the fiscal policies Obama pursues. There are record numbers of people on food stamps. Unemployment is sustained at high levels. The gap between rich and poor has widened under Obama. The "post racial" president has rekindled a conversation that was on the back burner when he was elected. A great number of Republican Governors are turning their states around while Democratic strongholds like NY, California, and Chicago are failing economically. The demoralization of these college graduates who were thrilled to be on their parents' A & H plan until age 26 are going to face the humiliation of not being able to become independent adults.
At some point, hopefully within the next 4 years, the electorate will learn that socialist systems just don't work so well. If they were educated at all they would compare the prosperity of some capitalistic countries to their socialist neighbors and see the difference in outcomes. I give you East and West Germany and North and South Korea as examples that readily come to mind. Cuba is in decay, only 90 miles from prosperous Florida.
People will continue to vote with their feet by moving to low tax states which, incomprehensible to the leftists, continue to prosper with low or no taxes!

I have asked some liberal acquaintances of mine to list all of the Secretary of States' accomplishments during the last four years. The best that anyone could come up with is that she TRAVELED all over the world! Hell, you or I could have done that too.

We did not get one new ally country. Not one country threw off the bounds of Sharia Law. We alienated our best allies. We sat on our hands while Iran was in possible revolt. We have the worst possible outcome in the Egyptian "Spring." We have lost prestige (except in leftist Europe) and are in the process of eviscerating our military. Nobody considers what we might do and we are becoming as irrelevant as Europe. And on and on...

So what will her campaign line be? "I stuck with Bill after the Monica Lewinsky story broke?" What difference, after all this time, does it matter?

Miggie,

Everything you said was true before November 6. To quote a great statesman, "What difference did it make?" Face it. We are outnumbered, and we are dying off.
