White House Schedule-November 5, 2012




What is with the "No public schedule" business? Up until a couple of days ago, Monday-Friday schedules included all the President's campaign stops around the country. Now they are just saying, "No public schedule". Are they afraid to highlight the fact that Obama is running around the country campaigning while the Oval Office sits vacant and people in the Northeast are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy?

"In the morning, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event on MLK Boulevard in Madison, Wisconsin. The President’s remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media.

Later in the morning, the President will depart from Madison, Wisconsin en route Columbus, Ohio. The departure from Dane County Regional Airport and the arrival at Rickenbacker International Airport will be open press.

In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The President’s remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media.
In the evening, the President will depart from Columbus, Ohio en route Des Moines, Iowa. The departure from Rickenbacker International Airport and the arrival at Des Moines International Airport will be open press.

At night, the President and the First Lady will deliver remarks at a campaign event at the intersection of East 4th Street and East Locust Street in Des Moines, Iowa. The President’s remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media.

Later, the President and the First Lady will depart from Des Moines, Iowa en route Chicago, Illinois. The departure from Des Moines International Airport and the arrival at O’Hare International Airport will be open press.

The President and the First Lady will remain overnight in Chicago, Illinois."
