Hat tip The Blaze
"I was deeply offended by the various remarks that were made during the on stage presentation and felt they were an attack on our country as well as the State of Israel and were anti-Semitic in nature and as a result I left the stage in protest."
- State Senator Tony Avella
-The Blaze
Recently, I cross-posted an article on the Muslim Day Parade in New York, in which a New York state senator got up off the stage and walked off in protest at a speech.

The Blaze contacted the senator in question, Tony Avella and asked him about the incident. They have received a response, which I am cross-posting here.

It will be worth noting if the Grand Marshal of the parade, NYC City Council Member Robert Jackson (who didn't walk off) responds to The Blaze's inquiry.
"Uhhhhh..............yeaaaaah."
