Under the ever-clueless James Clapper, our national intelligence apparatus seems to have turned into one huge puzzle palace. Just like their bosses in the current administration, they can't seem to make up their minds about how that Benghazi attack occurred-even though the suits at the State Department were monitoring it in real time. The latest buzz out of Clapper's world of confusion only adds to the...well, confusion.

This guy Clapper is an incompetent. He should have been laughed out of his job long ago, but this crowd doesn't resign; they just hang in there. This is the guy who told us the Muslim Brotherhood was a bunch of reformers.
"The term 'Muslim Brotherhood'...is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam," ... "They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera.....In other countries, there are also chapters or franchises of the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally."
This is the guy who learned about the arrests of 12 terrorists in Britain from Diane Sawyer during an interview.
This is the guy who told Congress that over the long haul, Ghaddafi would prevail.
The only one who has prevailed over the long haul, unfortunately is James Clapper.

I wouldn't have used the word "heterogeneous," but the rest of the description is accurate. Where the Muslim Brotherhood has strong civilian support, it is largely because for decades they built up social services in communities the government was doing nothing for, and told people that Islam inspired them to do that. It helped of course that our CIA favored them over the communist organizations building similar community presence, because of course, until the late 1990s, Islamists were good guys, our gallant freedom fighter allies.
The Brotherhood is hostile to al Qaeda, and vice versa, but that doesn't mean either are our buddies. Clapper didn't say they were. We are going to have to work with them in some places, for a time.
The Keystone Cops have better intelligence than the Obama regime has.
Last I knew Findalis, the Keystone Cops are fictional characters. You're living in a dream world again. Bitterness ill becomes you.
