Holy Land Foundation Appeal Denied by Supreme Court

The US Supreme Court has denied an appeal by defendants from the Holy Land Foundation trial in 2007. The case involved monies being funneled to overseas terrorist organization through US-based Islamic charities.

There is yet one piece of unfinished business in the Northern District of Texas. The US Attorney's Office in Dallas has reportedly prepared a subsequent indictment on other figures around the country in this case. That indictment was reportedly quashed by the Justice Department in Washington. As long as president Obama and Eric Holder are running things, that case will not be opened.

That will require a new administration.

Not the consideration that is going to swing my vote, one way or the other, IF your information is accurate, which is plausible but hardly established.

Siarlys,

Your vote would not be swung if we had Obama on videotape robbing a bank.

My vote would be swung (to a libertarian or green candidate, not to Mittens) if you had a video of Obama planning to invade Iran, gut social security, repeal the Bill of Rights, lower the voting age to ten, double the national debt before he leaves office... but not over whether a given set of defendants in a district in Texas will or will not be prosecuted.

Gary, put that shoe on the other foot - would your vote be swung if Romney was on videotape robbing a bank?

As for me, I don't need Obama robbing a bank to not vote for him. Looks like I'm voting Green, most likely.
