At a Friday news conference, Commentary Magazine asked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton what she was doing as her own department was monitoring the Benghazi attack in real time. Here is the response they received.

Seems a simple enough question for me: What was she doing and what, if anything, did she advise the White House about our consulate being under attack? Are you telling me that if Charlene Lamb was following the attack in real time, that Clinton was not being advised? Why couldn't Clinton give a straightforward response?
Today, Sean Hannity said that Clinton has gone off to Peru to attand some women empowerment conference. How convenient.

Well, if the Secretary of State could handle it all personally, we wouldn't need any staff, would we? Each cabinet officer could have an office in a single building a block or so from the white house with one phone line.
Before you "small government" freaks get excited, that would mean eliminating the Pentagon, because the Secretary of Defense can handle it all, and the Border Patrol and DEA, because the Attorney General can supervise it all from a single disk in Washington...
You're just forming up another nit-picking peanut gallery, because anything that went wrong is the FAULT of someone you'd like to get rid of.
Yeah, I know, Democrats do it too. That's another reason I'm not a Democrat.
Although I am a little bit to the right of center, I would have fully supported the impeachment of Nixon if it came to that, and I further would have supported his prosecution (and that of Bill Clinton, for that matter). That was not bacause I wanted to get rid of Nixon, but because he was a crook, just as Clinton was (still is).
