Respect for Religions Egyptian Style and Norwegian style.

Hat tip Gates of Vienna, Vlad Tepes and Assyrian International News Agency for videos

The below incident occurred in Cairo on September 11, 2012 during the demonstration in front of the US Embassy. An imam screams epithets against the Bible and rips pages out of it as the crowd screams "Khaybar, Khaybar, ah Yahud", a reminder to Jews that the armies of Muhammad are coming.

Meanwhile, in Washington, all is calm in front of the Egyptian embassy-as it is at Egyptian embassies everywhere.

Meanwhile in Oslo, Norwegian police are apologizing for that dopey video produced in the US. Check this out (Vlad Tepes).

Watched the whole video.

The police officer said that his department rejected the message in the video.

He expressed sympathy.

He called for dialogue and for the Muslims there to keep their protests within the confines of the law.

At no time did he apologize. I realize that the person who posted the video stated that he did, but unless it's a bad translation (I don't speak Norwegian) it is very misleading to say that he was "apologizing").

I thought the officer said the right thing. I'm curious as to exactly which statement bothers you. Or am I misinterpreting and you agree with him?

There was no need for the Norwegians to say anything. They are cowering.
