White House spokeshole Jay Carney
Jay Carney has made one of the most preposterous claims of blaming the Middle East riots on that silly video that was produced by some guy in California for the anti-American riots. Listen to this boob during the daily White House press briefing (I'm glad somebody gets a briefing in the White House.) The below video comes from Hot Air followed by an article by Commentary Magazine.

Amazing that the administration, Hillary Clinton, and the media are still buying the line that this video was the cause and not a pre-planned attack to mark 9-11.
Or am I mistaken-is it really October and not September? Maybe I should check my calendar.
Maybe Carney should watch the below video showing what is going on (still) at our embassy in Cairo (Hat tip Vlad Tepes and MRC-TV).

It is not the video. The problem is that militant Islam is taking over the Muslim world. They hate our guts, and no amount of disclaimers, apologies, pandering, foreign aid, or rescuing them from their own dictators is going to change that fact.
President Obama's foreign policy and outreach to the Islamic world has failed. Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State has been a dismal failure. Our enemies have seen our weakness and are reacting accordingly.
And our national leaders and media continue to blame it all on some 13-minute video that was produced in 2011. They are echoing the excuse that has been used by the Islamists. They are repeating the mantra that any sensible person knows is false.

The video obviously WAS the cause of MOST of the larger scale rioting, whether or not a trained team of terrorists was planning some action for that date.
We have denied our government the jurisdiction to either define or punish blasphemy, and the rest of the world will just have to get used to that. But, we also have free speech rights to denounce the producers of such moronic, juvenile, crap for the irresponsible cowards they are.
Why don't they go show off their amateur productions in Tahrir Square? Yeah, we know what would happen to them. But better them than the American embassy staff.
They're cowards -- sitting here smugly wagging their ears behind the protection of brave American men and women who take all the risks for them.
True, it is no more possible to arrest people for plays presenting Jesus and the Apostles as homosexuals engaged in group sex, or posting photos of a crucifix in a bucket of piss, than it is to arrest people for making this sort of flick. But we don't have to wink and nod at any of the above.
Was it Jay Carney who also said: "Are going to believe what I say, or your lying eyes?"

I would hazard a guess that the great bulk of these fools have not even seen this video, and all they know about it is that have been told that someone, somewhere, allegedly insulted Allah, or the "Prophet", or whoever.
Just shows you what a bunch of savages/primitives/barbarians these people are, some of whom we have expended (and possibly/probably wasted??)a LOT of blood,money, and time on.

elwood is probably correct. That is how most mob actions spread. But the makers of the flic went to the trouble to translate it into Arabic, and re-post that to YouTube. It has had over a million hits.
As Miggie might say, who do you think they made the translation to impress, the Amish?
