Not if this report by Fox News is true. It says DHS learned on September 9 that a plan was underway to storm the US embassy in Cairo and "burn it down if necessary"-to force the US to release the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman-the man behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in which 6 people were killed.

This would cast into further doubt this mantra that the Middle East protests on September 11 were over a dopey video that is being used as a convenient excuse both by the Islamists but also by the administration and our media.
More importantly, it also adds more questions as to why our missions-especially in Benghazi-were not better protected in the face of this intelligence. Today, intelligence expert Ralph Peters appeared on Fox News' Megan Kelly's show and questioned if it were true that Secretary Clinton had nixed the idea of armed guards at the Benghazi consulate. Peters added that if true, Clinton had "signed Ambassador Chris Stevens' death warrant".
As to the demands for Rahman's release, note the exact wording of DOS press spokeswoman Victoria Nuland's statement in the face of reports that our government is considering releasing Rahman to Egypt:
. "Let me say as clearly as I can there is no plan to release the blind sheikh, there is no plan. To my knowledge we have not been approached about it recently by any senior Egyptians," she said Wednesday.
Underline the words, "plan", "to my knowledge", "recently", and "senior Egyptian officials".
Hell, you might as well underline the whole, carefully-crafted statement. It leaves a ton of wiggle room. Bill Clinton, himself, could not have written it any better.
What matters now is that there must be a public reaction to this story, so that the administration knows in no uncertain terms that the American people would oppose this release-either now, after the election, or on Obama's final day in office.

Now we find out that the two Navy SEALs were not part of the protection detail for the Ambassidor. The two SEALs were responsible for security elsewhere. They stepped in to protect the Ambassidor when they saw the attack. These two SEALs who gave their lives for the Ambassidor, are the only true heros in this very unfortunate event. So, the protection detail was smaller, by two, making up a protection detail comprised of two people. Hillary, Obama, and the rest of his Administration have blood on their hands.
