In this piece, Amil Imani clearly calls out for the Islamic world to clean its own house before going out and committing mayhem against perceived offenses.

If only somebody at last week's UN summit had the courage to give a speech like that. Instead, we cower in the face of hate, violence, and intimidation. If only the decent and peaceful Muslims in the world who have no desire to subjugate anyone could rise up and take charge. Unfortunately, (with very few exceptions) they can't.

I would hardly call the president's speech, which was praised by such well known liberals as Gary Fouse, "cowering."
Ref: "...by such well known liberals as Gary Fouse"
Gary Fouse a liberal?
Gee, I never would have guessed!
Me either.
Just for the record; I am not now, nor have I ever been a liberal.
Y'all are dense today.
That was sarcasm. I though it was obvious, you know, calling Gary a liberal, that would be sarcasm, right?
The relevant fact is, Gary praised the president's speech for saying most of the things that need to be said.
Then he absent-mindedly says nobody said anything at the UN that he wanted said.
Don't worry, Siarlys, I got your joke. I guess you have to lay the sarcasm on two inches thick rather than just an inch thick for these folks to get it.
