Having spent five years in Italy being involved with the Italian justice system, the vagaries of the European system(s) never failed to amaze me, but then again, what could be more confusing than our own? Having said that, the final verdict on Norwegian mass-murderer Anders Breivik leaves me shaking my head. He methodically killed 77 people, shows absolutely no remorse and gets 10-21 years in prison. Yet, apparently, he can be- and probably will- be kept in prison the rest of his life.

All I can say is too bad he wasn't tried in Texas.
However, this does not really close the book on what happened. Norway and Europe are involved in a conflict that only promises to get deadlier and deadlier as time goes on. There is absolutely no justification for what Breivik did, but the authorities have got to recognize that their populations are getting fed up with the societal crisis that they are experiencing with their Muslim immigrants. When the people sense that their government and political leaders refuse to listen to them and address their concerns, they will turn to radical extremes to deal with the problem. Isn't that what our liberal social scientists tell us here in the US?
Anders Breivik not only killed 77 people, he did a disservice to the rest of his countrymen who were trying to get their leaders to act within the system to deal with the criminal immigrant elements operating with seeming impunity. He allowed the government leaders and the bleeding-heart liberals to say, "See? We told you so. These are right-wing, bigoted racists who are against all immigration."
I disagree. History shows that good immigrants (Muslim or otherwise) who contribute to the adopted country and assimilate will be welcome. I have met too many such immigrants in ,many different European countries to believe otherwise. All it takes is some common sense thinking by the government officials who allow immigrants to come in the first place. Insist that they come legally, obey the laws, respect the local values and customs-and assimilate.
But when you see your country invaded by those who do not work or contribute, instead commit crimes, take welfare, harass Jews, and spit on the local culture, people are going to react angrily. They are going to demand that laws be enforced, and that people be arrested and deported. They don't see it happening. All they see is so-called tolerance for the intolerable.
It is not just Norway either. It is happening in Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK-have I left anyplace out? Europe is headed for a societal explosion. Just wait until Israel and Iran start going at it in the Middle East.

Its not really Breivik's fault, its the fault of the Muslims. They made him do it.
