Stephanie Cutter and "The Facts"
"Those super-PACs are just going crazy."
In the continuing saga of the pro-Obama ad accusing Mitt Romney of involvement in a Missouri woman dying of cancer, Hot Air has posted a clip with campaign adviser Stephanie Cutter telling CNN this week that she didn't know the facts of the woman's case. It is followed by a conference call in May involving Cutter and Joe Soptic, the woman's husband, as he reads a statement describing the facts of his wife's case. Talk about a Perry Mason moment.

And if that's not enough, now President Obama is bemoaning the "crazy" behavior of the super-PACs in spite of the fact that the above ad was produced by a super-PAC supporting him.

What's even more amazing, even though the ad in question has been completely de-bunked, it is still running.

Sure its still running. It has traction. That's why you object to it.
Its not even dishonest -- see my response to your original rant on the subject -- but even if it was, that never stopped a Republican.
Politics being in the state it is, even the best-intentioned people have to focus on winning before they can act on their good intentions.
I think I know some better ways, but you wouldn't like them, and the Obama campaign hasn't asked my advice.
