Hampshire College "Corrects an Injustice"

Awards scholarship for illegal alien

Professor Margaret Cerullo

"The History, Theory and Practice of Occupy Wall Street"

Not just to a student who turned out to be an illegal alien, mind you, but the lucky student had to be an illegal alien to qualify for the scholarship. Daily Caller has the report below.

"I felt it was unconscionable that Hampshire encourages social engagement and students are involved with these issues, such as working as paralegals and studying the immigration movement, but we couldn’t have undocumented students,” she said. “That seemed completely contradictory and unjust.”

And correcting that "unconscionable injustice" is Professor Margaret Cerullo who teaches all about injustice, feminism,  and even the Occupy movement "history, theory, and practice" at Hampshire College. I wonder if she might be a graduate of UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) Community Studies or History of Consciousness departments. Checking her bio page at Hampshire, there is no mention of that, but she does have quite an "interesting" background.

With stuff like this, now you see why higher education is so expensive.
