Hat tip Vlad Tepes
Michel Gurfinkiel has wriiten a timely piece in Vlad Tepes describing the sad state of affairs for Jews in France in the wake of the Toulouse massacre and the latest riots in Amiens. Rather than causing the French public to recognize the resurgence in anti-Semitism and recall the inglorious past when they helped the Nazis round up and deport French Jews to the death camps, it seems that the attack in Toulouse has only stepped up anti-Semitism.

Unfortunately, France is not the only country in Europe where the last few thousand Jews have no future. Sweden and the Netherlands are also inhospitable places for Jews, and anti-Semitic acts are increasing in most European countries. It is clear that the explosion of a restive Muslim immigrant population with a built-in antipathy for Jews is the principal reason. Most of the violence directed at European Jews is committed by young, male Muslim immigrants-the same ones who regularly riot and commit crimes. True, guilt must also be attached to the usual skinheads and neo-Nazis, but they are a small fringe.
As in the US, the far-left has joined forces with the militant Muslims over Israel and a marriage of convenience has been formed that can be seen in the universities. They (the leftists) of course, ignore the inconvenient facts that they are aligned with forces that are not only anti-Semitic, but would persecute gays, apostates, and others from the "wrong" religions, as well as relegate women to an inferior status. Already, we see in some parts of Europe that study of the Holocaust is being scrubbed due to fears of offending Muslims.
How tragic it is that so many Europeans have so quickly forgotten the Holocaust.
