Palestinians Thank IOC Head for Refusing Moment of Silence

11 Israeli athletes killed in 1972 Munich attack

Not everybody is criticizing Jacques Rogge, the head of the International Olympic Committee, for refusing to hold a moment of silence during the opening ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of the 1972 Munich massacre of Israeli Olypmipc athletes. Mr Rogge has earned the eternal graitude of the Palestinians.
