If true, this would be the first time in recorded history that a 1/32 nd native American (Cherokee) would be the keynote speaker at a national convention.

Yes, it is. Since Little White Dove is the one who actually coined that line that Obama used, that "you didn't build that", and since she is locked in a tight race Senatorial against incumbent Running Bare aka Scott Brown, the choice makes all the since in the world.
Imagine the scene as Little White Dove takes the stage with balloons falling all around and the band playing, "1/32nd Cherokee Nation".
