Who Was Dr Feng Shan Ho?

I didn't know myself until I read this piece from Pro-Israel Bay Bloggers.

Dr Ho was the Chinese Consul in Vienna during the Anschluss (German takeover of Austria in 1938) who issued thousands of visas to Jews seeking to escape. Here is his story:

Just as I support the current efforts of Peter Lancz to erect a sculpture of Raoul Wallenberg on the UC Irvine campus, how great would it be for college students to hear the story of Dr Ho from his daughter, Manli Ho? This is the audience that needs to hear this story.

Here is a link to the Chinese Historical Society of America with more information on Manli Ho's work.
