Obama is a Renegade President

Now that the Supreme Court has thrown out three of the 4 provisions of the Arizona immigration law (SB-1070) and upheld the most critical part, the administration has announced that it will break a previous agreement with the state that allowed state and federal officers to work together on illegal immigration. While Arizona police will have the right to check into the status of people they encounter legitimately if they have reasonable cause that a person might be in the country illegally, ICE doesn't have to pick them up or even respond to computer query requests

In addition, the federal government has also announced a hotline for people to call and complain about officers violating their rights in this regard.

What we have is a government unwilling to enforce the law and putting itself against the state of Arizona, the state most damaged by illegal immigration and its related crime.

Under Eric Holder, we have known for some time that we have a renegade Department of Justice. It must also be said that we have a renegade president who is determined to govern by fiat.

If you think it is violation of someone's civil rights to be asked by a cop whether you are in the country illegally, try traveling to any other country-especially one you consider free. Let's say you are driving a car in Germany and are stopped for a traffic violation. See how long it takes for the police to ask to see your passport. See if they don't look through the pages to check your stamped date of entry. Chances are, if you entered on a tourist visa, your stay is good for 60-90 days (I'm not sure.) If you have overstayed-guess what happens. You will soon be on your way home.

Arizona cops will not have the right, nor did they previously have the right to simply spot a brown person and stop him or her to see if they are in the US legally. First of all, they know the state also has millions of Mexican-Americans. Secondly, there must be a legitimate reason to approach the person in the first place and then upon dealing with that person, they develop reasonable cause that the person is not a citizen.

President Obama and his corrupt Justice Department are spitting on the law in order to get the Latino vote. Pure and simple. They have declared war on a state that is trying to save itself from a desperate situation.
