Last night, President Obama flew into New York City from Cleveland (where he was campaigning) to attend a fund-raiser at the home of Sarah Jessica Parker. The cost of attendance was $40,000 per person. Here is the previously-posted ad for the event featuring Anna Wintour.

I saw the ad on TV, as well. Anna Wintour actually is saying: "You poor slobs, we are going to give you a chance to dine with the elite, us, so you can see how the ruling class lives" (my interpretation). Anne, bite me!
