Fousesquawk World in Review

Narrated by Ed Herlihy

"We begin our review in Nigeria, where today a passenger jet crashed into a building in downtown Lagos about the same time as a suicide bomber detonated himself and his car in front of a church killing a dozen or so people.

In Syria, government troops shelled the town of Houla killing hundreds.

In Pakistan, suicide bombers blew up a church killing dozens.

In Iraq, suicide bombers blew up a church killing dozens.

In Egypt, a Coptic Christian church was bombed during New Years mass. As body parts lay in the street outside, people celebrated. Protests continued on Cairo's Tahrir Square and Western female journalists were raped by gangs of men.

In Sudan, the government in Khartoum threatened to attack the newly independent South Sudan.

In Somalia, the terror group Al Shabab continued its campaign of terror as pirates continued to hijack ships and hold hostages.

Meanwhile in Yemen, the last remnants of the centuries-old Jewish community is trying to flee the country and persecution.

In Libya, fresh on the heels of a victorious revolution aided by NATO, mobs desecrated a British World War II cemetery.

In the West Bank, Palestinians broke into a house in the Jewish settlement of Itimar and slaughtered a family of five including 3 children, the youngest aged 3 months. In Gaza, people celebrated and handed out sweets.

In Iran, a Christian pastor awaits execution for apostasy, as the Iranian government continues to threaten Israel with annihilation..

In Afghanistan.........

In Pakistan......

In Syria......

And finally, last month in Irvine, a two-bit professor from UC Berkeley was asked a pre-planned question from a planted questioner in a UC Irvine audience by the name of Shaheel Syed to "comment" on the financial aid given by the US to "the racist, apartheid state of Israel".

I won't bore you with the answer from the 2-bit professor.
