Warren was also conspicuously absent Friday from the funeral of a Massachusetts police officer slain in the line of duty. The funeral was attended by Governor Deval Patrick and current Senator Scott Brown, who Warren is trying to unseat in the November election.

Turns out Little White Dove was attending a big pow wow of liberal bloggers that day (Netroots Nation).
And what a pow-wow it was. Little White Dove was one of the speakers when another squaw asked all the squaws in the audience who had gotten rid of their papooses (had an abortion) to stand. Once they were all standing, the entire audience was asked to give them a standing ovation.
"Ah wunnerful, ah wunnerful, ah."

All I can hope for is that Massachusetts voters will vote for the naked guy (Brown).

Yeah, the Republican Party would like to keep this election focused on anything BUT regulating financial institutions, because most voters know that is badly needed. Republican won't deliver it. Democrats aren't too reliable for it either, but some of them think about it from time to time. Warren will push for it, and Republicans can't stand the thought of her being elected by the people, which means they can't filibuster her presence on the floor.
I routinely fill in stupid forms asking for my race by checking whatever terms they use for European, Native American, and African ancestry. I didn't get any special scholarships, but I think its time to de-emphasize the significance of racial identity, and admit that most Americans are mixed.
